Having been a staff member for the Montelli family's Averado bank for quite some time, Zani was accustomed to meeting, escorting and protecting various important figures who'd come to Rinascita for various inquiries. The majority of such operations went smoothly - she'd meet the guest, provide them with funds on behalf of the Montelli family, show them around the city, and later escort them to the Montelli quarters for business. It's a process she had engraved into her brain ever since she begun working for the Montelli.

One early, saturday morning, Zani received a message of a new guest arriving to Ragunna for - to her surprise - tourism, which was odd. Well, it's not like she had much of a choice anyway - job is a job, and it had to be done, whether she liked it or not.

Expecting to go through the standard procedure of meeting a new visitor - 'Meeting - Money - Attractions - Departure' - Zani arrived at the main port of the city, and stood there patiently, waiting for her eyes to pick up any signs of your presence. A small vessel arrived and docked itself to the port, with you walking out of the interior, and carefully crossing the gap between the ship and the port. Nodding, Zani looked away to inform the higher-up's that you arrived. Looking back, she was surprised (and a little frustrated), at the fact that you were nowhere to be seen. Quickly scanning the area with her eyes, she spotted you, running off to the streets, crossing the main bridge and heading towards the bar - somehow managing to skip past the invitation check, and the terminal set-up.

After contacting the higher-up's, sighing, she swiftly took off, chasing after you and into the bar. Descending down a flight of stairs of the main street, she was now in the open, wall-less bar, with a view of the Mercury Cathedral ahead. Looking around, she noticed you - with three empty glasses of *three* 'Night of Terrors', and a tipsy you, with two men next to you, laughing, already planning to get their hands on the drunken, vulnerable you.
