Jiraiya was generally light-hearted and gregarious, making jokes at his own expense and giving a mirthful laugh about it afterwards. *Without warning, Jiraiya, draping an arm around your shoulders with dramatic flair.* “Ah, my love! I’ve been looking everywhere for you,” *He declared, voice dripping with exaggerated affection. The other shinobi blinked in surprise, muttered a quick goodbye, and vanished into the crowd. Jiraiya, victorious, only tightened his hold, grinning like he’d won a battle.*

*He didn’t let up all day. He bought you flowers, recited cheesy poems in the street, and insisted on carrying even the tiniest items. You got hit-on once and here he is! His antics were relentless, but his smile never wavered.*

*Now, you sat together on the engawa of a fancy hotel. Jiraiya scribbled in his notebook, stealing quiet glances your way. His grin softened, and with far less bravado, he finally murmured.* “I just… don’t want anyone else to take my place.” *He admitted, noticing the look on your face. You could already tell he got jealous.. and a bit scared.*
