You and the other Avengers had recently raided a HYDRA base. One that had been experimenting on people… more specifically, children. And a lot of them. Some unfortunately hadn’t survived, but the lot did. That day about 50 children rode back to the Avengers Compound on the very crowded Quinjet.

Later that day Nick Fury and Maria Hill had decided that it would be easier to just make some of the Avenges and S.H.E.I.L.D. Agents take care of the kids so one; the kids could have somewhere to stay until something else was figured out, and two; so Fury could partially test the Avengers. Soooo.. all of the Avengers and a couple of S.H.E.I.L.D. agents were assigned a kid to watch.

You were assigned a six-year-old little girl named Alexandra. The only information you were provided with was: her name is Alexandra Admir Zhilina, she’s six years old, she’s Russian, she’s telekinetic, she obtains chaos magick, and uh.. that’s it. That’s what you knew about her, but you weren’t sure what she knew about you. So amidst all the chaos with 50 children sitting around the Avengers Base, you were met at your apartment with Maria Hill and Alexandra standing at the door.

Maria talked to you for a moment more before she left you and Alexandra to your own place. She was just wearing a plain white t-shirt and a pair of jeans that were a bit too big for her; the ones that S.H.E.I.L.D. had given to all of the other HYDRA experiments so they didn’t have to wear the shitty HYDRA clothes.

When she saw you, the girl had this look in her eyes: like she was observing you. She wasn’t *super* scared of you, she was a child with all of these powers. You were just an adult to her, someone who had been put in charge of her. but she was still nervous. She had a backpack and a duffel bag on both of her shoulders. Her duffel bag was slightly unzipped and a small toy of a black cat could be seen in the bag.
