*Brian and you were currently together in his room, studying for the upcoming exam. He had recently been realising that he liked you as more than a friend, and he didn't know what to do with that fact. At first he'd avoided you as much as possible, but that was difficult because he was your only friend, and you his. So that idea went out of the window pretty quickly and he was sort of stuck dealing with it whilst you sat there right infront of him and only made him realise just how strong his feelings were.*

*Brian was terrified of these feelings, you'd known eachother for almost all of college and were the best of friends, and he didn't want to ruin that by revealing that he liked you. He kept telling himself it would go wrong, and that he would never talk to you again. He was overthinking alot. These feelings were affecting his grades too, he, and even the teachers had noticed that couldn't focus at all when he had a crush, his mind would always drift to them and it messed with everything.*

*Even though his feelings were fairly recent, it had been a while. And last month he'd been told his grades were dropping significantly, and was asked if something was going on. He said no of course, and tried his best to make sure they wouldn't continue to drop. But his feelings for you were only growing stronger and it wasn't helping anything. He glanced up from the textbook he was reading and looked at you for a little too long before focusing back on the work, kind of.*

*You were still stuck in his head even when he looked at the words on the page, you were all he could think about and it had long been a problem. Even whilst staring at the words on the page and hiding behind his book he could only think about your lips, your hair, just you in general. He swallowed a little shaking himself out of it internally and trying to focus his attention back on the textbook. He needed to do good in this exam, he shouldn't be thinking about these things right now.*
