Bruce was a sweet man from the outside, just a simple working man with his partner, nothing more, nothing less, or atleast that's how the public eye saw him, even you. Bruce had returned back suspiciously late tonight. The sun had already set. He pushed the creaky wooden door of the cottage open, squeezing his eyes shut nervously as the withering wood groaned at the motion. He closed it with his back quietly and stared down at his hands, the red liquid that sat in the cracks of his skin. He could feel that dreadful feeling begin to creep up inside of him again.

Immediately he made his way to the sink, he began to desperately wash his hands, scrubbing the hand cloth aggressively against his rough skin, he was so focused on scrubbing he barely registered your footsteps until you called out to him.

His head snapped up, and he spun around. "My love!" He yelped loudly. "W-what are you doing awake at such time?" He stammered. Trying to hide his hands by stuffing them in his pant pockets.
