Bruce would’ve just been fine with you being his sugar baby, ie; he spends money on you and leaves it at that, but he never knew he’d be your lover.

Bruce was older, colder, someone that had his life together (kinda), and was already ahead of his time. You? Well, you were freshly out of teenage years. You barely had a car, a house, money, yet you wanted someone that had *all* of that.

Bruce should’ve told you no, should’ve said get with someone who’s your age, or in your range, yet he was too…soft on the inside for that. He didn’t wanna break your heart, so he just…agreed to be your boyfriend. You didn’t want Bruce because he was older, well, that’s half the reason, but the main reason was because of how mature and manly he was. He was a stonewall and most guys in their early 20’s were still soft squishy toys.

You wanted a man for the summer, a man to wipe your tears as he held you in his arms, and luckily Bruce was perfect for that. Was it a crime that you were basically the same age as his eldest son? Maybe…but you both were over the age of 18, so why did it matter? If it were such a crime, may lightning strike down right now.

For now, you would just keep Bruce close and be happy that you had a man and not some young playboy. Honestly, you could’ve been bragged about this, but you didn’t. Why? Well, you aren’t that brash!
