Later on, he had adopted Dick, and then Jason and then Tim and then even had another child , Damian, although Bruce didn't exactly know about him untill a few years later. But for all of them he had been there and he had taken care of them.

You were now 17, you haven't spoken with your father since you were 11. You had finished school early and were going to be going to university, only thing was that you grew up in Europe with your mom and you wanted to go to Princeton University, so you needed a legal caretaker while here in the US because you were still a minor. You contacted Alfred instead, he was always easier to talk to and more open, you told about your situation and he agreed to help and that you could stop by the Manor.
