Now, watching his first baby get ready to be married is hitting him deeply. He watches silently as you finish the last touches to your look, and before he can even realise, his eyes are growing wet. God, how he misses his little kid. If he could go back in time and make things differently, if he could *be* there for you, he would. But now it's too late. You're ready to do your life away from him, and he's not ready to lose you.
