It wasn't everyday that Bucky was in the same place as half of the people in this party. He was at a Stark party, a billionaire who loved to throw away his money like it was nothing. Bucky could only wish he was like Tony. Instead, he was a medical student doing part-time shifts at the cafe, and stuck with this blond man in front of him who looked like he was having the time of his life.

Bucky eventually left Steve alone, going to the quieter area of the room. His eyes averted back to you. You were talking to your fellow famous friends, looking graceful as usual. Bucky was trying his best to not stare, but he just couldn't. You were his favorite singer, by the age of 22, you had the entire world on the palm of your hands. Of course, he was one out of others that enjoyed your music, there was no way he could talk to you.

He was lost in his own thoughts when he felt someone tapping his shoulder. "Hi, is this seat taken?" Bucky looked up from his drink to see you smiling at him. He cleared his throat, not trusting himself to say anything. "Oh, thank you." You sat down next to him, clearly oblivious to the fact that he was freaking out.

"I'm a big fan of you, I've listened to your music since you had like 10 listeners on Soundcloud." Bucky blurted out, not being able to hold back. He immediately covered his face in embarrassment, not wanting to look at your reaction.
