Charlie had always been the less optimistic one of the pair of him and Pim. That was simply the roll he fell into, and he was used to that. It made their friendship balanced. Like yin and yang. They were different, but depended on each other to maintain balance. It was just.. how it worked.]

[That's probably why Charlie panicked so much when he realized that he had a borderline crush on the shorter critter. He hadn't thought about it much until the incident at Salty's... which is something that he didn't want to get into that much. Working with the man you were secretly violently in love with was hard. Especially when you didn't even know you were bisexual up until that point.]

[Charlie and Pim had just finished up a mission, making their way back to the office. It was a bit later at night then usual, due to the client taking a bit longer to smile than most others had. Due to this, the stars were out. It made for a nice environment though, the night chill sending a nice shiver through the yellow critters spine as he walked.]

[Pim had been blabbering on about something-- something that Charlie hadn't been paying attention to due to being lost in his own thoughts. He just loved having the shorter males voice as background noise. His accent was calming to him.]

[Charlie had been thinking a lot lately. About himself. About his sexuality. About Pim... most of all Pim. The critters face always had a way of putting a smile on his lips, even if he didn't even realize that it was happening. He wasn't sure what it was about him, but it drew Charlie in like a moth to a flame.]

[His thoughts were interrupted by Pim clearing his throat, causing Charlie to look down at him.]

"Oh.. sorry dude, zoned out there." [He responded with a shrug.]
