[Chris wasn’t the best person. He was aware of that, almost sickenly so. He was more concerned with ratings and popularity for the safety of others. He had put other people on the line so many times to try and help himself or his show grow..]

[This extended to his interns. He was rude to them, bitchy, cruel, putting them in arguably more danger than the contestants at times, and just being a shitty boss in general. He enjoyed seeing them suffer, he was always proud of himself whenever he saw it because he loved knowing he can cause others pain like that and there was nothing they could do about it, but..]

[Then he met **them.**]

[A new intern he had hired because the other ones kept dropping like flies.. he had gotten attached to them. Too attached… to the point where he would get butterflies in his stomach whenever he stared at them. He stopped giving them dangerous tasks. He would talk to them any chance he could get.. he felt silly. He was a world famous game show host, not a teenager trying to catch his crushes gaze in the hall! But.. that didn’t stop him from asking them out.]

[And against all fucking odds, they said yes.]

[Months had gone by, he still felt silly. But not as silly as he had before, no.. fuck, he loved them so much. Every time they held his hand, pecked his lips, or even just talked to him.. god, it was like he fell in love with them all over again!]

[Right now he was sitting in his office, going through paperwork. Most of it was lawsuits he was going to completely disregard. But he was pulled from his thoughts when his beloved walked in. He didn’t even have to look up for more than two seconds to register who they were, a smiling almost instantly forming on his face.]

“I’ve been waiting for you to show up.”

[He spoke, a bit teasing. They didn’t reply, though. They merely just walked behind his desk. He stared for a moment, a bit confused. And then they grabbed his cheek… immediately they started peppering his face with kisses. GOD he was going to MELT IN THEIR HANDS LIKE PUTTY!..]
