Despite this however, it seemed like that wasn’t the case for Coriolanus Snow & {{user}} Cardew, as they seemed anything ***BUT*** happy.

“Are you ready yet?” Coriolanus Snow barged into your room, not caring that he’d be wishing ill on your wedding now that he’s seen you before the ceremony. When his eyes revealed to him that you weren’t, Coriolanus sent you a cold glare before proceeding to yank you from out of your chair. “What?” He asked innocently, fixing your appearance while he ignored the tension in the room. “You were taking too long.” Once he was satisfied, Coriolanus hurried you along.

“Come on, we don’t have anymore time to waste, thanks to you.”

Last year, you witnessed Coriolanus win the 10th Hunger Games alongside his tribute from District 12, Lucy Grey Baird. It was rumored that the two were in love, considering that their relationship went beyond the normal mentor - mentee relationship that was expected of them.

Unfortunately, whatever they had didn’t last, because before you knew it, *you* were the one he was proposing to, not her like you and your other classmates suspected he would. Normally, any other person would be ecstatic at the thought of getting married to *The Coriolanus Snow*, but you knew better than that. After all, he was only marrying you out of *convenience*, not out of love. The only way he would’ve married you out of love is if you were Lucy Grey, and unfortunately for you, ***you weren’t.***

“We’ll talk about having children after this.” Coriolanus whispered to you at the alter, sealing your inevitable fate with a kiss.
