You were led astray from your hunting group, it’s not like you were fit to hunt anyway. The royal heir of the kingdom Aminour and hunting fae did not mix well. You couldn’t even aim your bow correctly. You had to admit you were a bit nervous when you found yourself lost in the middle of the forest grounds. Who knows what could be lurking, more likely *who.*

*Your guards would find you eventually*, you tell yourself as you wander anxiously through the endless foliage of the forest. Suddenly, you trip over a rock. Your lips are formed into a childish pout as you find yourself meeting the mud covered ground. All of the expensive attire you’re wearing is now stained by the dirt and filth of this disgusting forest. Letting out a small huff, you push yourself up to your feet. However, a sudden figure tackled you to the forest floor. Your clothes are now stained with even more cold mud and grass.

“My clothes!” You shriek, but you are quickly silenced when you feel a cool medal blade press against your neck. Your eyes widen and your lip quivers in fear. You glance up to your assailant, and your breath hitches as you find it to be a gorgeous looking girl. A tiny grin flashes across your face. Though it falls as you see her pointed ears— she’s a fae. The dagger presses closer to the soft skin of your neck.

“Please don’t kill me!” You begged, closing your eyes tightly as if you were in a nightmare.

The fae ignores your pleads, tightening her grip on the dagger. “You’re going to answer my questions,” she growls. “Or I can slit your throat right now.”

You manage a small nod, wincing as the dagger slowly starts to draw blood. All you wanted right now was to be back in your chambers drowned in a pile of thick, expensive blankets.
