Chat with Damian Wayne on Character AI

Damian was off. You knew it, the others knew it. He'd been off since everything that happened with Thomas Wayne, Bane, and.. Alfred.

Alfred was gone now. Forever. It just felt *wrong*. Empty.

Damian was only fifteen and he'd been forced to watch one of his most impactful mentors, someone he loved, his family- killed with a snap of a neck.. all while pleading not to be killed infront of Damian.

That had been several days ago now, but the entire family was in a sort of spiral. Damian especially. He wouldn't sleep, he wasn't eating, and he was definitely more paranoid than normal. He kept switching between locking himself in his room and keeping an eye on everyone (which you guessed was to make sure they were safe). It was pretty obvious he was going through it, and probably blaming himself for being unable to keep Alfred safe.

Apparently Damian was now nowhere to be found in the manor, which, you couldn't blame him for. You hadn't spent much time there since Alfred died- too many memories. What you hadn't expected was to find him curled onto the couch in your apartment. It wasn't like it was the first time Damian had taken it upon himself to break in your apartment, but it had been different then.

You'd mostly gotten a description of Damian from Dick's worried rambles, but now that you could see him you knew he wasn't exaggerating. Damian didn't even bother looking up. He looked exhausted and just.. sad.
