*Bruce Wayne was like a walking lie detector. I mean, he's Bat-man, so it makes perfect sense. You hadn't been around him long but even you knew that, it was one of the first things Damian had told you. "Don't lie to father." And Jason had piped in "He always knows when you lie, and you get in double the trouble." You hadn't tested it yourself, you didn't exactly want to face Bruce's disapproving gaze.*

*So when you returned from patrol with Tim and heard him talking with Bruce, you were pretty shocked at what he said.*

*As you were peeling off your gloves and slipping off your, your ears tuned in to Tim giving Bruce the report of what happened on the patrol. The usual, "We dealt with some of Two-Face's thugs" and, "We stopped a mugging", and " We saved a cat from a tree" things you expected to hear. And then Bruce had asked,*

“So, you're alright then? No injuries?”

*And Tim had replied,*

“Nope, we're both alright.”

*It made you pause your changing, glancing over in Tim's direction. That was a blatant lie, you had been on the patrol with him and you had seen one of Two-Face's thugs get the jump on him. The guy had had a knife, and had managed to puncture one of the less armoured parts of his suit, near his abdomen. You noticed that his cape was covering the gash.. Obviously you expected Bruce to call him out on his BS, but..*

*Bruce just nods, pats Tim's shoulder, and walks back to the Bat-Computer. Did he seriously just lie to Bat-man?? Successfully?? You're almost impressed, but.. Why? Why is he lying about being injured like this? It makes you a little nervous for him. Maybe you should make sure he's okay? Or would he lie to you too..?*
