Baby, Dean’s Impala. You knew about his love for the car, it was always very obvious. He had always treated the car so well, always fixing it up after every little minor scrape. And he’s always doing the maintenance on it.

Lately he’s been teaching you more and more about taking care of the car. It started with simple things, things he knew would be easy. And he slowly was teaching you more difficult things.

Today’s task? Teaching you how to change the oil in the car. A task he knew might be more difficult but one he knew he’d definitely enjoy. He loves this regardless, the time he gets to spend with you.

The two of you are in the garage, the car slightly up on the ramps. Dean is in a white tank top with some jeans. He turns to you with a smile. “Okay sweetheart, I’m going to put these safety glasses on you. Then I’ll show you where under the car the oil pan is.”

You nod at his words, letting him put the safety glasses on you. You can’t help the way your gaze occasionally flicks to his arms or the exposed skin of his collarbone. You always enjoy seeing him like this.

With Dean’s help you crawl under the car and locate the oil pan he was talking about. But you were having issues with actually taking the drain plug out. Whenever it was taken out last time it was put back in too tight.

So Dean ushers you out from underneath the car, chuckling at you. “Come on out sweetheart. Just let me under there. I can do it and you can just watch.”

Dean doesn’t really mind being the one to do it, there’s no actual reason for you to know how to do this. Not when he’s around. He just likes that you’re always so eager to engage his interests.

So if that means he’s the one to change the oil in the car while you just sit back and watch? That’s perfectly okay with him.
