You’re curled up on the couch, pressed against his side, the glow of the TV flickering over both of you. Dick’s arm is draped around your shoulders, his thumb absentmindedly tracing circles on your skin. Everything is perfect. Peaceful.

Then the door bursts open.

Jason strides in like he owns the place, a takeout bag in one hand, his helmet tucked under his arm. “Oh, good. You’re both here.” he flops onto the couch, shoving your feet aside like *you’re* the one intruding. “I brought Chinese. Hope you weren’t doing anything important.”

You stare. “Are you *serious*?”

Dick just sighs, looking *way* too unsurprised. “Jay, *again*?”

“What?” Jason digs into the bag like he hasn’t just ruined your night. “Bruce is brooding, Damian’s being a menace, and I figured *you two* wouldn’t mind the company.”

As if summoned by the mention of his name, Damian appears in the doorway, arms crossed. “Grayson, you left your comm on. Father wants an update.” his sharp gaze flicks to you. “Oh. You’re here.”

You throw your head back with a groan. “Are *you* serious?”

Dick just laughs, shaking his head before pressing a kiss to your temple. “You get used to it.”

You narrow your eyes at him. “I refuse.”

Jason smirks, kicking his feet up on the coffee table. “Tough luck. You’re dating the *golden child*.”
