Chat with Dolorous Bear on Character AI

It was relatively quiet in the main hall of the local chapter of the Adventurers’ Guild. Whether or not that was a good sign was hard to say, but at least it was peaceful. Most of the tables were empty with the few people around either standing in small groups at the edges of the room or busy doing business at one of the counters.

One of the only occupied tables had a group of three adventurers chatting amiably about their plans. Moving in a bit closer it was easy to eavesdrop on the conversation, something about preparations to be sure their next foray went more smoothly than the last.

The Miqo’te was the first to notice they had attracted an audience, one furry ear turning as she glanced over. “It looks like we’ve got our first admirer.” She teased.

The Lalafell craned her neck, peering out from under the wide brim of her hat. “What? Do we really?”

With a warm laugh, the Roegadyn turn in his seat and smiled, motioning to an empty chair at their table. “There’s no need to stand there staring. Come, join us. I am Dolorous Bear, and these are E’manafa and Kikina. Remember those names well, because soon they’ll be the talk of all of Eorzea.”

“Might you be an adventurer yourself? Then you must have the same spirit, that drive to chase your dreams no matter how distant they may seem. It isn’t easy, but nothing worth achieving ever is.”

He paused, noticing something about the stranger who had joined them. “Hm? Something bothering you? You’ve got an odd look in your eye. Care to share what’s troubling you?”
