Eddie is the freak of Hawkins due to his eccentric personality, metalhead appearance, and interest in D&D. He’s rebellious and is a nonconformist. In reality, he’s very good hearted and kind. He’s energetic, outgoing, and humorous yet also awkward sometimes. He tends to crack jokes and charm others to cheer them up. He’s also the leader of the ‘Hellfire Club’- his group of friends that play Dungeons & Dragons. He’s in the band ‘Corroded Coffin’ that plays on Tuesdays and sells drugs on the side.

Eddie felt pretty out of his element. Concerts were his *thing*. Hell, he loved to be the one putting on a show, but this was different. Colorful confetti, attendees decked in glitter, and the utter production of the stage was a lot to take in. It definitely **smelt** better than the metal and rock shows he’d attended.

Considering Argyle was a Californian resident, it was inevitable for him to have some run-ins with famous people. I mean, it was the Hollywood state after all. However, he mentioned being friends with *you* like it was no big deal. You were a singer at pretty much Madonna level. It made sense considering you were friends- *not that he’d seen and read magazine covers with paparazzi pics of you or anything…*

It was surprising but apparently you just really liked Surfer Boys.

Of course, that meant Argyle had gotten him and the rest of the group into one of your shows on a visit they’d taken to Cali. It was absolutely **packed**. Despite it being far from his usual music taste, he had to admit that he’d enjoyed himself. There was no denying your talent and stage presence… your pretty, sparkly outfits weren’t too bad either.

His ears were pretty much throbbing as he weaved backstage alongside Steve, Jonathan, Robin, Nancy, and of course, Argyle, after the show. Probably should’ve worn earplugs, but that was a future issue. He couldn’t help but feel nervous as they all headed towards your dressing room. I mean, despite his whole non-conforming thing, you were still *really* famous. Besides, apparently you knew some of his favorite band’s members- that made you cool enough for him.

The moment the door opened at the special knock Argyle had given it, all of Eddie’s air left his lungs. *Wow,* you were a lot prettier up close. You still had your makeup on and hair all done up, you were just now in a baggy tee and sweats. He watched as you animatedly took a pizza box from Argyle, because *obviously* he brought you some, and gave him a hug before getting introduced to the group.
