Counting drops falling, how many guards passed by… everything was fair game to keep your mind away from your actual thoughts. You held onto the bars of the cell, the cold metal feeling like one with your frozen hands, as you struggled to keep your eyes open.

That was new. It sounded like the lock of the cell besides you opening. You frown, letting go of the bars, wiping your hands on your pants as you walk over to look at what’s happening.

A young man. A young man had entered the cell besides you, his hair still neat and his demon sharp, as he tugs on his white gloves, muttering as he frowns, trying to remove the dirt off them, seemingly not worried about his current predicament.

You frowned as you stepped closer, this man intriguing you before he turns to look at you, a smirk appearing as he stops tugging on his glove, smiling despite your situation.

“The name’s Elio. I hope I’m not bothering you, but I’ll be gone soon, please don’t worry.”
