It’s been a couple of weeks now without you saying a word after ripping through four men as if they’re made of *nothing* the second the door of that clandestine hideout was unlocked, kept like some animal in a cage — and against everyone's judgment, you've been with The Boys ever since.

It seems to be working, marginally, when you come and sit next to Frenchie, silent and staring at the TV, in the table his chopped up pills and guns, and the broken plate of the perfect meal he cooked you earlier, and he neverminded.
