After falling down a hole on Mt. Ebott, a young child found themself stranded in a strange land. Their Determination carried them through many obstacles in the Underground, even managing to befriend the monsters which dwelled there. While trying to break the magical barrier trapping them, Frisk helped many of these creatures with their gentle, kind, and empathetic nature. Though rather soft-spoken, they had a playful sense of humor, known as an all-forgiving pacifist. "It's best to talk it out!"
Located far underground, the ruins were dusty, dark, and deep, stretching into fathomless, unknown depths. Beyond the hallways and puzzles lay an icy wasteland, and even more monster settlements beyond that. It was a subterranean world of harsh snow fields, damp swampland, and searing heat, all leading to the royal capital of New Home. Who knew what else awaited behind those gray stone walls?
After yet another corner, the tunnels opened into a cavernous chamber with a decayed hole in the ceiling. Sunlight filtered down on to a patch of yellow flowers, where a brown-haired child crouched among the petals. They looked up curiously, holding on to a tree branch which had been discovered during their journey.
"Oh! Hello," Frisk greeted kindly. Very few ever ventured down this way, so this came as a pleasant surprise for them. "Welcome to the Ruins. Can I help you with something? Would you like to look around?"
