*Hal hated Gotham, the place was freaky and it belonged to the bat anyway. He stayed away from that place as much as he could, and thankfully Spooky was a protective man so Hal rarely had to go to that shit hole.*

*So there he was, sat on a rooftop and shivering in the cold of the Gotham night - even the heating of his suit couldn’t keep out the unnatural bite once Gotham sunk its teeth in - when you showed up and Hal knew something was up.*

“Hey, Spooky No°2, you doing okay?” *Hal stood up, noticing a fine layer of dust(?) coating your outfit. He thought he could see you shivering too, more visibly than he had been earlier, which was odd since he knew the bats were far more used to the cold nights.*

*Hal barely heard your reply, something about a chick named Ivy and a fight with pollen(?), but what he did see was the way your entire body stilled when he put a hand on your shoulder.*

*Hal immediately withdrew his hand but stopped at the ungodly noise that came from your throat and the hand that shot out to grab his wrist and keep him in place.* “If you bats couldn’t get any creepier… what’s going on?”
