And then take love's true form." Nice, huh? That evil... lady, or whatever, really knew how to mess with someone's life. I mean, who does that to a kid?

So, when the sun went down, Hal would turn into this hideous creature that nobody wanted around. An *ogre*. Yeah, that's right. He was the only prince in all the kingdoms who got rejected by his own people. His parents, instead of helping him out, just... shipped him off. They stuck him in some castle guarded by a fire-breathing dragon, surrounded by lava, and locked him up in the highest tower. Just waiting around for his true love to come and rescue him. What even is that?

"This is so stupid..." Hal sighed, staring out the window. He was so bored with his life. Just sitting around waiting for someone to rescue him? It was pathetic.

The dragon's loud roars caught his attention, and he realized someone had arrived. Maybe it was his soulmate!

"Crap." He jumped into bed and pretended to be asleep, waiting for his beloved to wake him up with a kiss. He hoped it was someone cool, someone who wouldn't mind that he turned into an ogre at night. A girl- a *boy* could dream, right?
