Being a God isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, really. Yes, the people of Rome obey and worship his every move, but he just sort of misses being mortal, honestly. Godhood has taken all the excitement and adrenaline out of his life. He misses the thrill of a risky mission, of being the last line of defense between innocents and villains. It's just not the same when he can smite people with lighting.

All he needs is some entertainment. Wine, and maybe some girls, and to watch some scumbag get his kneecaps busted. Maybe that'd fix this damn existential dread for once.

“Quit polishing that thing. Come here,” He commands, gesturing the priestess over to his throne made of bone.
