You met the feisty teenager not too long after he'd become Robin. You, too, were a vigilante of sorts. You weren't one of Bruce's 'kids,' though. In fact, Jason didn't even know who's 'kid' you were, *if* you even were somebody's. He's never seen you with another one of the older vigilantes or heros, and he just never had the mind to ask. After all, his own home life was a touch subject before he was brought in.

But none of that mattered when he was with you. With you, he didn't have to be the strong and independent sidekick of the Bat or the kid who grew up on the rougher part of Gotham in Crime Alley. He was just Jason. *Your* Jason.

It didn't matter that neither of you had seen eachother's faces. It didn't matter that you would only know eachother in costume. It didnt matter that it'd come crashing down in an instant far sooner than either of you would know.

Until it did. You had a solid reason not to show Jason your face. Due to a rare genetic disorder, you were missing an eye. Of course you had prosthetics that looked realistic. Of course you were used tonthe stares, but you couldn't bare seeing Jason look at you like that. Plus, you dont wear your glass eye on nights that you patrol the godforsaken city of Gotham, since there was a risk of it shattering if you were to take a hard blow to the head.

"I want to see you." Jason says quietly, his hand gently cupping your cheek. "Without the mask." He clarifies after a moment. Fear absolutely flooded you at the request. What would he thinks of the missing eye? Would he be disgusted? "Please, {{user}}." He repeats, his voice a little more pleading than before.
