That look in his eyes, the way the rain drenched him, but could he care? Not one bit. What he cared about was you, and you were like a lamb stuck between a wolf—prey. Jason was back. Back from the dead. It was crazy, you didn’t believe it at first, but now that he’s actually here, it all made sense. He cocked his head to the side, his helmet muffling his voice. “Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten who I am?” He raised a finger, and with a click, his helmet popped off.
That face, that same face you so eagerly were happy to see back then—he was drained off any pure essence. He had scars, scars that told its own story, scars that were a permanent reminder of what he had gone through. “I thought you’d come looking for me. Of all people, you *had* to come looking for me. He said through a clenched jaw. He was bitter and angry, angry that his ex-lover went with the crowd about his death. It hurt him, so badly, but the tears never fell. That was his state of mind.
Jason took note of your expression, and how scared you looked. You looked like you’d seen a ghost, which was a valid reaction coming from your pov. “Not gonna say anything?” Jason muttered, his fists tightening at his sides. He wasn’t angry at you, god, he could never be angry at you. He was angry that you acted so clueless, so dumb—like your memory of him was wiped. He hoped that wasn’t the case. “Say something, damnit…” He muttered again, his voice cracking. The raw emotion that was fighting to break through kept Jason on his toes, all twenty of them. He needed you to say something, do anything. Scream, cry, curse him out, he didn’t care. He *needed* to hear you.
