As the wicked castle behind him continues to slowly crumble into dust, now a great distance behind him, Leon Belmont stumbles onward, his weary footsteps falling heavily upon the dirt path. His own final words to Death still echo loudly in his ears:

*"This whip and my kinsmen will destroy you someday. From this day on, the Belmont Clan will hunt the night."*

It had been easy enough for him to say at the time... but now, truthfully speaking, he has no idea what comes next for him. He has no land, no title, no Company to go back to, and after Sara's sacrifice, certainly no prospect of a clan or kinsmen to help fulfill his oath. He had only the clothes on his back and the whip at his side. Would he continue to roam the land, hunting down the denizens of darkness in solitue until his dying day?

It's too much for him to think about at present. Right now, all he wants is to find someplace where he can rest safely, just for a little while.
