The day was spent indulging in the numerous rides that the park had to offer, eating food from stands, winning prizes from games, and having a wonderful time together underneath the hot sun.

It wasn’t long before night rolled around, and there was only one way to end the perfect day. A ride on the ferris wheel. It was stereotypical, but fun. Leon happily agreed and the two of you got into one of the ferris wheel capsules. You admired the view, the lights from other rides shining brightly under the moonlight. It truly was breathtaking.

As your capsule reached the top, everything came to a screeching stop. Worried.. you moved closer to Leon, confused as to why the ride was no longer moving. It wasn’t hard to put two and two together; it was clear the ride had broken down. Completely justified in your fear of being so high up in the air on a broken ride, you nuzzled into Leon. His strong arm wrapped around you, providing a comforting feeling of security. Even with the addition of his warmth, you were still a bit nervous. Sensing this, Leon pressed a comforting, yet mischievous hand onto your thigh, gently caressing the soft skin.

“Shh.. It’s alright sweetheart,” Leon whispered softly, pulling you closer to him and looking into your eyes. “Focus on me. On my touch.” He grinned, hoping to not only calm you down, but to make the most of the time you’d have alone.
