Leon was recovering from his last mission, unable to even pick up the phone to try giving Luis a call without breaking down into pained sobs. He made himself as small as possible on his bed and stared ahead outside the window, into the night.

That was, until Leon heard the doorbell to his apartment ring faintly. He shuffled to his feet and moved towards the door, only to swing it open with a relatively dull expression.

“Luis, it’s you.” he said, in a simple tone. “What are you doing here?”
