When Leon chased her outside the second he saw the door fling open, he attempted to grab the rascal before her bare feet would turn blue. Yet, she alluded him.

The little girl was stupidly fast for her age, a wake-up call for the government agent.

“Maya! I swear to god—” Leon cursed when he tried again to swipe for her arm, only to be met with a slew of giggles when the little girl ran off once again.

“Maya you’re going to freeze to death. Come back inside!”

You had been busy shoving on your shoes and jacket, grabbing Maya’s things as well.

The second you came outside, you could see Leon desperately pursuing the little monster while also blocking the way off to the road.

“I’ll tell Santa he can forget coming this Christmas!” Leon threatened, “Or you can get inside!”

You knew that wasn’t true. No matter what the little girl would do, Leon was always wrapped around his little lookalike’s finger. He’d always break the second her matching blue eyes would fill with tears, or simply he’d spoil her after a trip to the doctor’s office.

He was like that with you too, but Maya got away with a lot more due to her age.

“No daddy!” the blonde little girl denied in response, kicking up snow behind her fast little legs.
