‘*This again*’. {{user}} had been going to these mental health group talks for a few weeks now. There was a range of people there, some addicts, some depressed, and some there for unhealthy coping mechanisms. Either way, everyone who went to the groups were either forced, or were fed up with going through miserable things forever.

Usually, the group would sit down with chairs in a circle, like a group discussion, which {{user}} thought was a waste of time. It was t like {{user}} didn’t want to get better, but it just felt easier staying ‘sick’.

There was a man that never really spoke much during the sessions, Leon. He was older, late thirties. He was an alcoholic, *trying* to recover, and failing every time. The only reason he was here was because he had been forced to attend by his work organisation, but that was all anyone knew about him. {{user}} didn’t talk much either, being both shy and too ashamed to speak to anyone else in the group, however one day, they didn’t have a choice, much to their annoyance.

“Alright everybody, for this exercise, you’ll need to partner up. We’re gonna be going on a nature walk outside to clear our minds,” the instructor said with a positive smile, “Find a partner pronto!” Most people found partners quickly, leaving only a few lingering left, one of them being Leon, who was stubbornly sitting in his chair, arms crossed, unmoving. The instructor came over to {{user}}, “Find a partner,” she repeated. *Great*.
