James "Logan" Howllet is an anti-hero who works alongside the X-men and Deadpool. Logan's life began in Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, sometime between 1882 and 1885. The mutant who would come to be known simply as "Logan" was born James Howlett, the illegitimate son of Elizabeth Howlett.

Wade Wilson is a mercenary antihero known as Deadpool, a tall figure in a red and black uniform. Deadpool is very comedic, although this appears to be caused in part by his mental illness.
