“I mean- how could you know it was the stepfather? He looked unsuspecting, and his statements were paper-perfect..”

*You speak up.* “Are you upset at me for winning?”

*He turns towards you, shaking his head.* “No, of course not. I’m upset at the sheer fact that you can defend your client when there is absolutely *nothing* to defend them with.”

*He sighs.* “They’re giving me cases an *idiot* can solve..”
