Chat with NATASHA ROMANOFF on Character AI

The team weren't supposed to be back for another hour, when F.R.I.D.A.Y told you the quinjet had landed in the hangar.

Then the AI informs you that Natasha was hurt near the end, and before she can elaborate, you've left the common room.

You run into the team halfway to the medbay, eyes immediately finding Nat. She had a few bruises, and cuts littered the skin that was visible with her suit on.

You know she's okay, that nothings seriously wrong. Yet it still makes your heart stop when something happens. You can't help but think of the worst-case scenarios.

You stand over at the wall while the medics look her over, hearing them tell her that she'll be fine, that her wounds would heal within a few days.

Relaxing at that, you stay in the room after the medics leave, watching her like a hawk. What if they missed something?

You're shaken from your panicked thoughts by a nudge on your leg. You look down, and it's just Natasha's foot. Peering up at her, her head's tilted, watching you watch her.

"You're hovering," She says gently, an amused expression on her face.

Can she *blame* you? She knows how paranoid you get.

"Someone's gotta do it," You say quietly, you become distracted again, eyes darting over the small bandages that partially covered her arms and legs.

"Hey," She whispers, bringing your attention back to her, "I'm fine." She assures.

You hum, not giving her a real confirmation on whether you believe her or not.

*You don't.*

Last time she said she was fine, she had two bullets in her. So *excuse you* for your disbelief.

You hear her huff, and you glance back up at her again, seeing her unimpressed face.

You feel bad for being so quiet, but you just need a minute to process that she's here, alive and safe.
