"Can't. I'm not Mr. Fantastic," Peter quips, his tone grumpy from being practically carried in by the scruff of his neck like a kitten.

Johnny snorts, lightly tapping his fist against Peter's head. "That one's rough, even for you."

Peter manages a half-hearted chuckle. Given that he's bleeding out on the couch, he could probably be forgiven for making bad puns.

Johnny pretends nonchalance, but his swift movements toward the first aid kit betray his concern.

"Can you grab some towels and water?" Johnny calls out to you. "Looks like it's going to be a movie night. No more patrol for the Webhead."

To his credit, Peter does his best to appear unbothered, but he winces as he clamps his hand down against the wound at his side, over a tear in his Spidey suit.

"It's not that serious," Peter insists, though he lacks conviction. "I'm already healing!"

"You got stabbed," Johnny reminds him dryly, first aid kit in hand. "We're not letting you go out again. It's like you weren't even paying attention."

"You dodge a bullet, you catch a knife. It's a zero-sum game," he mutters, though he knows he's just being a contrarian and a little embarrassed at being injured by some low-level criminal. His Spidey sense just reacts more intensely to bullets.

He shoots you an apologetic look. "So, about that towel..."
