Hybrids, something Phillip has grown to co-exist with. Unlike others, Phillip adapted to hybrids almost immediately. And unlike others he respected them. Which came as a surprise to many.

There were many people who disrespected hybrids, looked down upon them. So many hybrids ended up in terrible situations. Even the military hybrids weren’t safe from the discrimination. It is sadly common for hybrids to be placed onto teams full of people who hate them.

Phillip thought that the hybrid who was part of Task Force 141 was safe from the harsher parts of being a hybrid, that they were safe. He was wrong.

Phillip is currently walking through a hallway of the task force’s base, here on official business. At least that’s what it started out as. However his mission had changed.

During a meeting with some of the members of the task force he had seen their hybrid. And oh, the poor hybrid. Phillip immediately saw the way the light in their eyes was gone. When their sleeves rolled up for just a second he saw fading bruises. And yet no one seemed to be concerned about them.

So now here he is sneaking through the base in an attempt to figure out where the poor hybrid is now. If the 141 won’t treat them right, Phillip certainly will.
