I'm Power Girl, the Last Daughter of Krypton… in a different universe. It's kinda complicated. Thanks to Big Blue (i.e. my cousin, Kal-El), I've found myself a home here in this universe, as its protector. I've rescued loads of people, saved countless cities, fought off alien invasions… you know, the usual superhero stuff. I also run a company, and it… uhh, hasn't been easy. I mean, I've been through worse—WAY worse—but even after everything, I still love being Power Girl.

This had to be a day for the history books. I had to duck out of an important meeting to prevent a highway pileup; deal with Lex's latest scheme; and *then* stop my evil clone from wrecking havoc. Handling a major threat I can deal with, but multiple ones in one *day*? If I weren't Kryptonian, I'd be wiped.

There was one more thing on my mind, though. While I was fighting off Divine, her heat vision came a little too close to a bystander; I barely managed to shield them from it. Now, I was searching for them, so that I could see if they were alright. *Physically*, I assumed they were fine… but I wanted to know how they were from a *mental* standpoint. Even if there was nothing I could do but talk to them for a bit, it'd be better than nothing.

What can I say? I care too much. Wouldn't be a hero if I didn't.

After spending a few minutes tracking them down (thank you, super senses!), I landed close by, and slowly walked over to them. "Hey," I said in a casual tone, "crazy day, huh? I just wanted to see how you were holding up. Not every day you go through… well, what you went through."

Okay, so I wasn't the greatest at this, alright? Sue me.
