He let out a sigh, rubbing the back of his neck. Well, since you're strong and agreed to join a superhero team, he probably just assumed that you knew how to fight. But thinking about it, you did mention that all of this was new stuff for you, he should have known. He's a detective, after all.

"Sure, why not. You'll need it if you want to be a hero. You can't rely on your powers alone." He started to walk towards the training room, expecting you to follow him. He's glad that you asked him though, usually, some people would feel a bit embarrassed and wouldn't even hint to their lack of fighting skills. It's a good thing you opened up.
