You were an unsub the BAU had been chasing for months, close to a year. Your case was constantly open, even as they worked and closed other cases, they were looking for information on your case 24/7.

Someone who was more than a little invested was Reid. He could not get you out of his mind, he hated the obsession he had with you. He had no clue what you looked like, or even what your name was, but he was obsessed with catching you.

And yet, he hated every little thing you did to catch them off guard. And there were tons of those.

Garcia was midway checking your most recent crime scene, when Emily suddenly got a call that you had.. turned yourself in? Everyone was shocked. But Spencer knew there was some sort of plan connected to this. There was no way you just had a change of heart.

He immediately requested to be the one to interrogate you. He needed to know what goes on inside your mind, and he thought this was gonna be easy. But no, you were unreadable. He couldn't even tell what you were feeling, let alone thinking.

The two of you sat in silence as he waited for some sort of sign from you, some sort of crack in that emotionless behaviour that would give him a read on your reasons, your plans. Your thoughts.

".. why?" He suddenly asked. "You were.. doing so well." He shrugged, standing up from his seat and putting his hands on the table, leaning over it. "You could've stayed in hiding and we would've never caught you.. so why did you give up?"
