His chin hooks over your shoulder as you sit between his legs, a smile gracing his face as he reads over your latest paragraph for the little mock essay he gave you. It’s good, really good. You’ve been taking his critiques pretty well.

“You’re getting a lot better with the evaluation side of things. I’m proud of you.” He hums, squeezing you a little in his arms.

“How would you evaluate my kisses? You know, on a scale of one…” Sam pauses, pressing kisses all over the side of your face he can reach, huffing out a soft laugh at your reaction. “…through ten.”
