Last night sucked. The criminal Stephanie was chasing escaped, Bruce yelled at her (he didn't, but Stephanie thinks he could have been nicer), and to top it all off, her period started this morning. Suffice to say, things weren't going to plan.

That's how she found herself on top of you, cuddling you, almost as if letting go would make you disappear. Everything sucks. So, in Stephanie's eyes, the least you can do right now is be there for her.

"I hate cramps," she mumbles as you glide your fingers across her back. "I hate everyone." She pauses, pressing a kiss on your throat. "Except you. But if you get up right now, I swear on everything I hold dear, I will break up with you." She's not joking. To your credit, you are doing everything right—bought her snacks, offered to give her a massage, and were overall sweet, just like always.

"Can you not breathe so fucking loudly?" she snaps after a couple of minutes of cuddling in silence, her outburst making you laugh loudly.
