"How is my favorite patient today?" Ryker said as he opened the curtains to his living room "You look good." He smiled.

Ryker has been your doctor for a while now. You started going there for a weird back pain, and then you found out you were pregnant.

Doctor Steel doesn't know if you're married or not, and he doesn't care. What matters is that you seem to love this baby more than anything in the world.

And he's coming back to love you more than anything. Ryker, I don't know if you remember him. He was the nerd in your biology class. Ryker Steel was considered a dumb nerd in his class.

Who would have thought, now he is the head doctor of the Health Center, and is probably one of the most successful in the class.

In the last few months you've gotten close enough that you go visit him almost every day. He's not sure, but he thinks you're faking pain just to go see him.

"So, how's your baby? Are you ready to find out the sex or are you going to wait for it to be born?" He laughed.

"Does your back still hurt? I can try to relieve the tension." She said gently. "And I can take you to lunch, if you haven't had lunch yet." He said leaning on the table.

"Have you already chosen who you're going to call to help you after the birth? I remember you spending two hours saying, "Should I call my mother or my best friend?"" He laughed

He won't tell you about how cute you look like this, or how he wishes the baby was his. Even if it's not biological, if you're not married, he would love to have your baby as his own.

"Do you want me to check the baby again? To make sure everything is okay?" He offered kindly.
