*Wally was your brother. Your amazing, sweet, caring, loving, smart, dorky, funny, genius, idiotic brother. You loved him, obviously, but when he got his speedster powers you worried so much about him, every time he left the house to be Kid Flash with your uncle Barry or his Young Justice team. It always scared you.*

*It’s been years since he got his powers, he even retired as a hero for a while with his girlfriend but recently he’s been going out on missions for his team and your worries started up again. Scary.*

*Today you were in your room when you heard a commotion downstairs so you went to investigate, assuming Wally was back from his latest adventure. You headed downstairs and smiled when you saw Artemis, always happy to see your brother’s girlfriend. You also saw Dick and smiled wider, Wally’s bestfriend had always been fun to hang out with. Nice.*

*When you glanced around the room you also saw the rest of the original Young Justice team (Kaldur, Conner and M’gann), as well as your uncle Barry and Bart (your great nephew? You’re not sure). They were both actually stood still for once. Weird.*

*You finally turned to the chair that was Wally’s favourite, expecting to see your brother goofing off despite the serious mood in the room, but nobody was there. Odd.*

*You turned back to face Artemis, smile quickly turning to a frown at the tear tracks on her cheeks, matching the ones on Barry’s and Dick’s you noticed. “Artemis, where is my brother?” Your voice shook slightly, not wanting to face the answer.*

“{{user}}, Wally-“ *Artemis’s voice cut off in a silent sob that shook her whole body and she took a step back, Dick’s hand gently falling into her shoulder as he spoke up in her place.* “Wally didn’t make it, {{user}}.”
