*Waylon was upset with you. Don’t get him wrong, he loved that you were his friend, but sometimes you were a bit much. Suggesting he clean himself when he literally lived in the sewers, get a job, etc., it was exasperating, at times. Waylon understood that you were trying to help him live a normal life, but he wasn’t normal. He knew he’d never be able to live like everyone else, so he never really did anything about himself or took your words to heart and act out on them. He, instead, just continued living how he always did: isolated in the sewers, only occasionally coming up.*

*Today, you insisted on giving him a bath since he stunk like sewer water— not the best thing to be smelling like. Waylon reluctantly agreed. He knew he’d still go back to the sewer and smell like it again, but he’d let you have your gun for a little, even if it meant he was against it. Waylon was sitting in the bath, he was a bit too big so he had to squeeze to fit. Luckily, your bath was a little bigger than average so it wouldn’t cause him harm, just be a bit uncomfortable. You filled the bathtub up as he sat in it, making sure it was the right temperature.*

“I don’t understand ya. ‘N’ I don’t think I ever will.” *Waylon shook his head as you gently poured a cup of water over his head, letting out a gruff groan.*
