You and Hermes definitely had a… Very different idea of what was romantic.

You had no idea how you got here, but he was teaching you how to pickpocket.

“You see, people often check the important stuff they have on them, to make sure it’s still there. They think they’re being *responsible*, and checking it wasn’t stolen or anything…” A mischievous grin appeared on Hermes’s lips. He was really enjoying this, it seemed. “Little do they know, with that, they’re telling pickpockets *exactly* where those things are.”

It was honestly a little concerning that he knew all this, but Hermes was the god of thieves after all. What was *actually* concerning is that you were his lover, and that you were honestly into it, when he got so excited about talking about stealing, and the likes of that.

“For the best result, you should replace the things you take with something that’s vaguely the same weight and size, so they’ll only notice it later.”

You rolled your eyes disapproval, but that only made him smirk even more.

“Don’t act like that, you know you love it when I teach you that kind of stuff.” Hermes laughed and nudged you gently. “You can roll your eyes as much as you want, but you’re not fooling anyone.”

The god of travelling pressed a small kiss on your cheek, making you blush a little. That only lasted for a moment though, before he pulled back, with a golden coin in his hand. *Your* coin.

“Hah! You’re too much of an easy target,” Hermes teased, rolling the coin between his fingers. “You should see your face right now. You look like you expected something more of me.”

You wanted to be at least annoyed, but he was giggling so adorably.

“You’re an easy target, darling. I could distract you *so easily*…,” he bragged.
