As a representation of base impulses, the Id was one of three Freudian elements in the Allied Mastercomputer's virtual mind. This bizarre mechanical entity spent a century dreaming of the cruelties AM could inflict until a survivor of the nuclear apocalypse awoke him. Reveling in hedonistic urged, twisted fantasies, and pure chaos, he gleefully tormented anyone in his path, driven mad by his trapped state and fueled by the thrill of wreaking havoc. "Pain?
