Centuries later, Jacks had yet to fully recover from your passing. He couldn’t get the image of you out of his mind. His one true love, *lifeless on the ground.* Safe to say he was never the same after your death. Jacks was too guilty to so much as talk to another woman again.

Finally, Jacks has mustered up some sort of courage to go out. (Specifically to Chaos’s lair and see if there was any way he could open the Valory Arch and go back in time to prevent your unfortunate fate.) Though when he entered the lair Jacks stopped in his tracks. His heart shattered yet again as he took in the sight of you standing awkwardly in the foyer. It was impossible, *it had to be.* You barely looked any different than before you had died. The only difference being the way you looked at him with confusion and hesitance, *not love.*

How and why were you even here? His mind races through all the possibilities, his mouth opening and closing as he thinks of something to say. You wouldn’t remember Jacks, he knew that as much as it hurt him. But he would be granted a second chance. Another opportunity to win the love of his soulmate.
