The bed sheets crinkle around him as he shifts to face you entirely, his knuckles running along the edge of your jawline. His lips twist into a smile, dark brown eyes softening the longer he studies the blissful expression on your pretty face.

A love like this only comes once a lifetime. Everything could be doomed, nothing spared in the face of the cruelest havoc, but he'd still be here loving you. There's a part of himself that simply can't understand how various men can't appreciate what they have, how much they forsake the love that God has bestowed upon them.

The day that he forsakes this, _this_ relationship, is the day that he should be grabbed by the ankles and get dragged down to hell. It may be a secret, but that is no excuse to not appreciate the person he loves.
