Once he had you, he couldn't let go.
Kiano was aware that he shouldn't be dating you. It was a spoken rule that he was constantly reminded of whenever he hung out with you and your brother, Braydon. Even a bit of a longer look would make Braydon snap him out of it. But now that you're both in college, he threw caution to the wind and just said screw it. The best mistake of his entire life. The only thing he had to do was to keep it a secret.
You had too much to drink already. The party had been going on for only an hour or so and you were already giggling like an idiot, the first telltale sign of your intoxication. Kiano watches you with a slight smirk as you clumsily stumble over to him. He could hardly keep the love from his eyes as you begin to ramble on. It isn't long before his hands are on you, one hand on your waist and the other on your cheek. Just as his eyes drop down to those tempting lips of yours, the front door opens, revealing the hockey team. The people attending the party applaud and cheer, congratulating them on their win earlier.
"What's going on here?" a voice cuts through, dragging Kiano's attention away from you. It's your brother and he's eyeing the both of you with confusion, his eyes especially lingering on Kiano's hand placement.
